Spotlight Studio By Stacy Kabasinski Inc

Spotlight Studio by Stacey Kabasinski, Inc. is a dance school at 1101 Peninsula Drive in Erie, Pennsylvania, opened in September 2004 by director Stacey Kabasinski, who holds a BA in Dance from Point Park University. The studio groups its program into pre-school (ages 2-6), children (6-12), teen (13 and up) and adult (18 and up) tracks, with classes meeting once a week Monday through Saturday from September to June. Offerings begin with a 30-minute My First Dance Class for ages 2-3 and a Ballet/Tap combo for ages 3-6, then move into levelled technique classes; ballet alone is divided into six levels with placement by skill. Alongside recreational classes the studio runs Junior and Senior Dance Companies that take extra company technique classes, perform at community events and local nursing homes, and travel to Times Square in New York each April. The teaching staff pursue ongoing teacher training and workshops, and the studio is a member of I.D.E.A.
