About this studio
Simone Dance Studio is at 16 Hornerstown Road in Cream Ridge, New Jersey and says it is marking 60 years of teaching. It runs recreational and competitive programs for children and teens, starting with a Preschool Combo I class for ages 3-4 that introduces pre-ballet, tap and acrobatic tumbling, then combination classes from age 4 that add jazz at higher levels. From age 6 students can add hip-hop, lyrical and competitive team training. Upper-level classes are taught by style: ballet as the technical foundation, tap, jazz, lyrical (ballet required), hip-hop, acrobatics covering backbends, cartwheels, walkovers and handsprings, and pointe by instructor invitation only. Registration runs through an online parent portal, and separate summer classes are offered.
