About this studio
Seven Lakes Dance was established in 1997 and serves the West End and Seven Lakes area of Moore County, North Carolina. The studio says it aims to improve not only each student's dance ability but also their physical and emotional strength, sense of responsibility, confidence and self worth through the art of dance. Its programs are split into a recreational track, a competition team and private lessons, with separate summer programs and a published dress code. The studio calendar is aligned with the Moore County Public School schedule, so it closes for major holidays and for winter and spring breaks. Its ballet teaching follows the Progressing Ballet Technique method, and it has been named a Best of the Pines winner in the arts and community category in several years including 2018, 2019, 2024 and 2025. Registration for the 2026-2027 season is open.
