About this studio
Salsabor Tropical, Inc., trading as Step N Dance, is a Latin social dance school founded by Tony Duarte, who has taught for more than 25 years and whose background spans jazz, hip hop, breakdancing and ballroom with a specialty in Latin dance. It was one of the first salsa schools in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County and now operates from Ocala, Florida. The school teaches salsa, bachata, merengue and other popular social dances at all levels, using a simplified method that breaks movements into steps and teaches leading and following technique separately. Programs include adult group classes, children and teen group classes, private lessons, wedding and special-event choreography, an online course platform, and regular salsa and bachata social parties. Instruction is offered in both English and Spanish, and gift certificates and a referral program are available.
