About this studio
Premier Dance of Ocala is a dance academy in Ocala, Marion County, Florida. It was formerly known as the Mary Ellen School of Dance, which opened in 1979, and continues today with a group of teachers, students, parents and staff. The studio teaches children from ages 1 to 18 and offers a wide variety of classes including Future Stars and Tiny Tot for the youngest dancers, classical ballet and pointe, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, aerial silks and acrobatics. Tuition is structured so families can choose how many hours a week suit their budget. The studio is home to the Premier Dance of Ocala Competition Team, and runs a summer session with its own registration and schedule alongside the main August-to-May season. The studio operates weekday afternoons and evenings.
