The Russell School of Ballet is a Northern Virginia dance school at 14119 Sullyfield Circle in Chantilly, marking 60 years of operation. It offers technique-based ballet training for all ages, from young students through adults, and the directors describe their aim as developing a love for dance, a strong technical foundation and an artistic education in every student. Beyond ballet the school presents an annual Jazz, Tap and Modern revue each June. Performance is central to the program: RSB stages an annual Nutcracker, including performances with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra, plus a spring show. The studio is home to the Fairfax Ballet Company, Kista Tucker Insights and Dancin' Unlimited, and its work has been supported in part by the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
