About this studio
Rising Stars Studio of Dance is a Central Jersey studio owned and directed by Mallory Chesler Horowitz, at 109 Harris Avenue in Middlesex, New Jersey, with an associated location at 17 King George Road in Green Brook. Its motto is Learn, Achieve, Improve, Grow, and classes are taught by college-educated staff in what the studio describes as a nurturing environment. Youngest dancers start with Tiny Dancer at ages 2-3 and Tiny Tumblers for ages 2-4, moving through Pre-Ballet, Boppin' Tots jazz for ages 4-6 and a Ballet/Tap combo at 5-6. Graded Levels I-IV are offered in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and tumbling, with pointe for dancers with at least three years of ballet, Irish step dance from age 6, musical theatre including acting and singing, and a turns, leaps and conditioning class for ages 10 and up. The studio also fields a competition team and runs summer classes.
