About this studio
Premier Dance Academy is located in Wexford, Pennsylvania, minutes from Cranberry, Mars and Gibsonia, and offers classes for ages 2 through adult at all levels, including preschool, recreational and competitive tracks. Styles taught include ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, hip hop, musical theatre and acro, plus preschool and toddler classes built around creative movement, coordination and listening skills. Class sizes are limited so each dancer receives personal attention, and placement is based on both age and ability. The academy also offers private one-to-one lessons, drop-in adult classes, a competition team, and the Hampton Dance Program. Summer options include themed camps, technique clinics, drop-in classes and a Summer Sampler. The studio emphasises age-appropriate music, costumes and choreography in what it describes as a family-like environment.
