Platinum Dance Co.

Platinum Dance Company operates from 85 High Tech Drive, Suite C in Rush, New York, describing itself as a Henrietta-area studio serving families from Rochester, Rush, Brighton, Pittsford, Chili, Avon, Scottsville and Honeoye Falls. It teaches dancers from age 2 to 18 across recreational, competition and eight-week class formats, with tuition charged monthly. Preschool classes for ages 2 to 5 are 45-minute combination classes with a choice of tap/ballet, hip hop or tumbling. Recreational classes for ages 5 to 18 cover tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, pre-pointe, pointe and musical theatre, and require no placement audition, although teachers may move students by ability. Every recreational dancer performs in the annual end-of-year recital, and the studio holds parent watch days during the season. A free trial class is offered on any class, family discounts are available for multiple dancers, and the studio also fields the Platinum Competition Team.
