About this studio
Pioneer Valley Ballet is a non-profit ballet school and company based in the Eastworks Building in Easthampton, Massachusetts, with a stated mission of cultivating regional appreciation of dance and training the next generation of dancers and arts leaders. The school takes beginner through advanced students aged 3 through adult, and states that it welcomes dancers of all abilities, genders, body types and backgrounds. Its program is split between a pre-professional track, a Youth Ballet, recreational classes, adult classes and specialty classes, with summer programs including Tutus, Tales & Treasures for ages 4 to 7 and immersive ballet classes for ages 8 and up. PVB performs an annual Nutcracker each December plus a spring production such as Cinderella, and runs theatre and classroom outreach programs for local children.
