Philly's Got Dance LLC

Philly's Got Dance (PGD) is a performance art studio at 4305 Locust Street in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that has worked with young dancers and their families for more than a decade. It began as a small neighborhood program and describes itself now as a community hub where children aged 3 to 17 learn movement, the discipline of practice and confidence on stage and in life, under the banner Real Moves, Real Confidence, Real Leadership. The studio reports having trained more than 1,000 students, and pairs dance instruction with leadership and mentorship, including a leadership and scholarships track and partnerships that bring structured movement and enrichment programs into schools and youth-serving organizations. Class offerings include Mommy & Me for toddlers and caregivers, beginner and continuing ballet, jazz, hip-hop, majorette, tumbling and gymnastics, acting and musical theatre, a Dance and STEM class, adult movement and fitness including barre and yoga, and senior dance and wellness with line dance and salsa. Classes and age groups vary by location; besides West Philadelphia and University City, PGD serves Columbia, South Carolina and Aubrey, Texas.
