Philadelphia School of Circus Arts

The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, at 6452 Greene Street in the Germantown area of Philadelphia, is a recreational circus school that says it offers the largest variety of circus classes, equipment and disciplines in the region, open to students of all backgrounds from age 2 upwards. Youth classes run September to late May and are banded by age, from Tots Circus (2-3) and Kinder Circus (4-5) through Junior, Youth and Teen Circus, plus parkour, acro, aerial and pole classes. Adult classes and an adult membership run alongside. A Performance Prep program for ages 10-18 trains acrobatics, dance, aerials, juggling and balance across two or three sessions a week, ending in a full-length Youth Soiree; a separate Youth Performance Troupe has performed around the city for over ten years. The school also runs summer camp, Kids Day Off camps, an after-school program, open gym, a juggling club, workshops, private lessons, field trips and birthday parties.
