Petri School of Irish Dance

The Doherty Petri School of Irish Dancing teaches traditional Irish dance across a network of locations in the north-eastern United States and beyond, including Ridgefield, Connecticut; East Northport (Diamond Dance Studio) and Garden City (Broadway Bound) on Long Island; Hartsdale/White Plains, New York; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Parkville near Baltimore, Maryland; Carmel Valley, San Diego at the West Coast Dance Complex; and Belfast, Northern Ireland. Registration and class information for all venues is handled through a single central phone number. The school is heavily competition-focused and lists a long roll of Doherty Petri world champions, publishing championship lists and individual champion dancers by name. It is affiliated with the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America (IDTANA) and follows the CLRG child protection and vetting policy. Dancers from the school are also available for hire for shows and performances.
