Oceanside Dance Center, formerly Oceanside Conservatory of Dance, has taught at 3394 Long Beach Rd in Oceanside, New York since 1976, serving Nassau County communities including Rockville Center, Island Park, Long Beach, East Rockaway, Lynbrook, Hewlett, Woodmere, Merrick, Freeport and Baldwin. The studio describes a friendly, relaxed atmosphere combined with technical training and discipline, and accepts all ages and levels, starting children as young as 2.5 years old. It is a competition school that enters multiple regional competitions each season and attends dance conventions, holding an annual team tryout.
