Nunnbetter Dance Theatre Inc

Nunnbetter Dance Theatre (NDT) has taught at 161 Woodbine Street in Bergenfield, New Jersey since 1997, serving Bergen County and northern New Jersey with a curriculum built around classical ballet. Students start in Creative Movement at ages 3 to 5 and Intro to Ballet at 5 to 6, then progress through Ballet 1 to 6, intermediate and advanced levels, with pointe work introduced from Ballet 6 after individual assessment. A Teen Ballet class caters to beginners aged 12 and up, and adult classes are also offered. Beyond ballet the school teaches jazz, Broadway dance, modern, hip hop, contemporary and tap across four graded levels, plus Broadway Bootcamp combining voice, dance and acting, and stretch and core conditioning. Private lessons are available, free trial and placement classes run each September, and the studio operates a summer dance experience and an August ballet intensive. Advanced students may audition for the pre-professional NDT Company, which performs a full-length Nutcracker and an annual spring concert.
