New Jersey Ballet is a professional ballet company based at 7-9 Vreeland Road in Florham Park, New Jersey, led by artistic director Maria Kowroski, a former New York City Ballet principal of more than 25 years. The company performs across the state at the Mayo Performing Arts Center, NJPAC, bergenPAC, New Brunswick Performing Arts Center and the Union County Performing Arts Center, mixing classical repertory with contemporary work; the 2026-27 season includes The Nutcracker with the New Jersey Symphony, Red White and Blue for the nation's 250th anniversary, Beyond Boundaries and New Dimensions with works by Christopher Wheeldon, Roderick George and Garrett Smith, plus family programs such as Once Upon A Time, Ballet Insider talks and a sensory-friendly Nutcracker. Its school, NJ Ballet School, offers a graded program of courses with placement and trial classes, a calendar and registration, and the company runs a trainee program, auditions, and summer intensives including elite and open youth intensives.
