About this studio
New Haven Ballet is a non-profit classical ballet school and performing organization that has trained dancers in greater New Haven, Connecticut for over thirty years, with classes for ages 3 through adult. Its mission is to provide the community with classical ballet training, performances and outreach that nurture appreciation of ballet. Programs run from a Children's Division starting with 1st Steps and Creative Ballet for ages 3 to 5, through a Student Division for children and teens, open adult classes, enrichment offerings, a student company and community programs; older students add pointe, variations, contemporary/modern and conditioning. Summer brings one-week camps, daily classes and a sleep-away intensive. Students perform in an annual Nutcracker and a spring show across four teaching sites.
