About this studio
New Castle Regional Ballet is a 501(c)(3) non-profit pre-professional ballet school at 210 West Washington Street in New Castle, Pennsylvania. It grew out of The Menichino School for Dance, founded more than 50 years ago, and was established under its current name in 1987 under artistic director Debbie Parou; the school describes 54 years of continuous dance instruction. Its stated aim is to teach children discipline, focus, responsibility, respect and dedication through proper technical ballet training. Classes run for all ages from two years old through adults and cover ballet, pointe, partnering, contemporary, jazz and tap, with mini classes and private lessons for dancers wanting accelerated progress.
