New Albany Ballet Company is a classical ballet school and performing organization at 5161 Forest Drive in New Albany, Ohio. Training is organized into four tracks: a Children's Division for the youngest students, a General Division for ages six and up who want dance as a fun, casual, recreational experience with a limited time commitment, and Pre-Professional and Progressive Divisions for serious students. A Mommy & Me Creative Movement class introduces toddlers to music and movement with a grown-up in the room, covering gross motor skills, spatial awareness and classroom etiquette. General Division ballet follows a structured curriculum of barre, center, stretch and strengthening work, alongside tap, jazz, hip hop and modern classes graded by school year through to a teen ballet class. The affiliated New Albany Children's Ballet Theatre stages The Nutcracker each season, and the school runs summer camps and intensives plus a year-end recital with costumes.
