Moves and Motions Dance Inc

Moves & Motions School of Dance has been teaching since 1987 and now runs three studios in the New York area - Glendale, Middle Village and Manhasset. The school describes its aim as providing quality dance instruction in a friendly, nurturing, family-oriented setting where progressive classes teach principles of dance alongside discipline, teamwork and respect. Programming is organized by age: Movin' Minis, a 16-week movement-and-music course for ages 6 months to 2 years; Twirlin' Tutus for ages 2-3; Budding Beginners for ages 3-5; a Core Dance Program for ages 6-17; Flippin' Friends tumbling for ages 5-17; and Tae Kwon Do martial arts for ages 5-17. Full-season classes participate in the annual recital. An Intensive Dancer competitive team for ages 4-17 offers two levels of commitment and competes locally and nationally alongside regional conventions. Free trial classes are offered to new students, and summer dance and a summer intensive run outside the school year. The studio is YPAD certified.
