Mixturez Dance Studio

ReMix Dance Studio at 3002 W. Main St. in Morgantown, Pennsylvania offers what it calls a unique dance education for adults, teens and children of all levels, and is owned by Liza Grundy. The curriculum is built around ballet as a technical foundation, with advanced students selected for pointe work based on conditioning and progress, alongside jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, hip hop covering locking, popping, boogaloo and commercial styles, and a breaking class teaching top rock, six step, freezes and power moves. Younger dancers start in creative movement classes that introduce ballet fundamentals through storytelling, games and props such as scarves, hoops and balls. The studio is a certified Acrobatic Arts provider, teaching balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering work. ReMix caters to both competitive and non-competitive dancers, fields the ReMix Dance Team and a Starlets competition team, and stages an annual recital.
