About this studio
Miami Youth Ballet is a dance school in Palmetto Bay celebrating its 30th anniversary season in 2026/27, with classes in ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, conditioning and acro for students aged 3 and up. The fall term begins in mid-August and the school caters both to beginners and to students taking their training to a serious level, with a graded ballet syllabus running from Pre-Ballet I through Ballet III and beyond into pointe work. Drop-in open classes in contemporary and jazz are offered at a reduced rate for MYB students. The school stages an annual Nutcracker at the Moss Center, cast by open audition for dancers aged 6 and up and featuring professional dancers from Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami, plus a Carnival of the Animals production. A free community open house is held before the school year to meet faculty and try classes.
