About this studio
Massay's DanceStar is a dance school at 3300 Bart Conner Drive in Norman, Oklahoma, entering its 35th season of teaching in the town. The studio says it is committed to a positive learning experience for every dancer, from first-year students to those in their twelfth year. Its recreational program starts with Creative Movement for ages 2.5 to 3, moves into preschool tap-and-ballet combo classes and kindergarten to second grade tap, ballet and jazz combos, and continues with graded classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical (third grade and up), hip hop, pom and acro. The studio is an Acrobatic Arts certified studio and follows that curriculum. Most classes perform in the annual recital, and a competition company, open from second grade, takes classes and competes across the state.
