About this studio
Central Oklahoma Dance Center (CODC) is at 106 East Main in Ada, Oklahoma, and takes its motto 'A Time to Dance' from Ecclesiastes 3:4. It was founded by Cara, who returned to Ada after earning a BFA from the University of Oklahoma with the aim of giving local dancers a stronger foundation through classical ballet training; a number of her former students have gone on to professional careers performing, teaching, choreographing and running their own studios. Students begin with creative movement at age 3, then add tap and ballet, with jazz, hip hop, contemporary, acro and pointe introduced in later years as developmental goals are met. A newly launched Pom program adds precision team dance with sharp movement, dynamic formations and team performance. A 2026-27 class schedule is published and enrollment runs through a parent portal.
