About this studio
Dance Star Productions Performing Arts Center operates from two Broadway Street addresses (212 W and 116 W) in Cushing, Oklahoma, serving Cushing, Drumright and the surrounding area. Founder Jillian Blakemore has worked in dance education for more than two decades, and the center positions itself as providing quality local dance education to youth dancers. Classes are grouped by age into Twinkle Babies (2-3 years), Twinkle Stars (3.5-5 years), Show Stars (1st-5th grade) and Junior & Senior Company (6th-12th grade), with technique offerings in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, acrobatics and cheer and tumbling, plus an Elite performing team. Beyond dance the center teaches voice, piano and theater, and runs yoga/barre sessions. Registration is online with a $20 enrollment fee, and an imaginative play class is offered for the youngest students.
