Classical Ballet School is a pre-professional ballet studio at 1605 E 19th Street in Edmond, Oklahoma, serving the Oklahoma City metro. It teaches classical ballet technique in small, formal groups, with class sizes limited and placement decided by the director. Training begins at ages 4 and 5 with the school's own Enchanted Forest Pre-Ballet program, a story-based introduction built around nature, classical music and ballet technique, and continues through ages 6-18 and into adult classical ballet. Depending on level, students also take contemporary dance, conditioning, character dance, musical theatre and variations. The school teaches the Cecchetti method and offers graded exams and scholarships. Every student performs each June in an original full-scale story ballet; past productions include Coppelia, The Snow Queen, Rapunzel, The Nightingale, Peter Pan and Thumbelina. A complimentary level placement class is offered to prospective students.
