Mainstream Dancers

Mainstream Dance Academy, whose tagline is 'Where Rhythm Meets Style', operates from 127 Ark Road, Suite 17 in Mount Laurel, New Jersey and teaches dancers from age 2.5 through 18. Classes cover ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop, with instructors who each specialize in a particular style and one who focuses on dancers aged 3-8. The studio says its classes concentrate on technical training while keeping dancers inspired, having fun and nurtured in their creativity, and it emphasises confidence, friendship, teamwork and fitness. Trial classes are offered to new students of all ages, and private lessons can be requested. Mainstream fields a competition team that won the 13-and-over division national championship at the Dancers Inc National Competition in June 2022 with its hip hop routine 'Street Werk'. Summer classes and camps run alongside the school-year program, and the studio is affiliated with MTJGD and operates a Safer Studio program.
