Mainstage Dance Academy

MainStage Academy of Dance - School of Classical Ballet (MSAD-SCB) has trained dancers for over 20 years, taking students from their first steps through to pre-professional level. The school is directed by Eddy Bray and works alongside Bray Ballet Company. Its Open Recreational Program is aimed at youth and adults and focuses on building confidence, coordination and creativity while laying a foundation in classical technique. The Academy Program follows the Russian Vaganova method for dancers aged 8 and up, with progressive training in technique, musicality and expression. Private one-to-one coaching with Eddy Bray is available for dancers preparing for auditions or competitions. Students perform in full-length ballets and storybook productions at the Oconomowoc Arts Center, including Cinderella, Dracula: The Ballet and a long-running annual Nutcracker. Dance camps and a summer intensive and workshop are also run, and new students are invited to a complimentary trial class.
