Landrum School of Dance

Landrum School of Performing Arts is a long-established school at 11-02 Clintonville Street in Whitestone, Queens, New York, which celebrated 35 years under director Miss Annette Vallone. It offers a full array of classes taught by industry professionals in dance, stage and on-camera acting, singing and public speaking, with students rehearsing and performing in the school's own 100-seat Landrum Showcase Theater and singing lessons taught privately or semi-privately in a soundproof recording studio. The dance timetable covers pre-school ballet, ballet, pointe and pre-pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop including a boys' class, acrobatics, musical theatre and combination classes such as ballet/tap and hip hop/tap, along with a separate program of dance classes for adults. Circus and aerial arts are also listed among the school's offerings. The All Star Company is the competition team, and summer camps have included dance, company and acrobatics/contortion camps.
