About this studio
La Vie Dance Studios is a woman-owned dance venue at 1255 West Morena Blvd in San Diego, open daily from 9am to 11:30pm. Its business is built around studio hire rather than a house curriculum: it rents a smaller downstairs studio and a larger upstairs studio by the hour to teachers, performers and fitness professionals, with lower rates for private practice and student rentals, and it hosts events, fundraisers and celebrations. The independent instructors who hire the space run public classes in a strongly international and social range of styles, including Brazilian samba, zouk and forro, Argentine tango and milonga, flamenco, belly dance, capoeira, heels and hip hop.
