About this studio
Karina's School of Dance (KSOD) is a Houston dance school established in 2011 and located at 2626 Sutherland St in the East End. The studio teaches ballet, contemporary, jazz and hip-hop alongside dedicated technique and flexibility training, and runs a competitive dance program whose dancers the school describes as nationally recognized. Classes are grouped by level so beginners and advanced dancers are both accommodated, and families describe a small, family-oriented environment; children as young as three attend. Prospective students are invited to book a trial class before enrolling. The staff are bilingual and the school advertises that it serves Spanish-speaking families.
