Hudson River Performing Arts

Hudson River Performing Arts Center is at 29 Elm Street, Suite 205, Fishkill, New York, and has served Fishkill and the Hudson Valley for 22 years, teaching from pre-school through pre-professional level from age 3 upward. Its class list covers Tutu and Tumble, Creative Dance, Petite Ballet, Jazz/Tap Combo, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theater Dance, Modern, Tap and Hip Hop, with classes emphasizing correct technique, coordination, poise, movement vocabulary, artistry and discipline while keeping each student's personal achievement level the focus. The center is home to the Hudson River Youth Ballet and the Hudson River Dance Repertory Company, for which auditions are held annually, and it stages full-length ballet productions including The Nutcracker at the Culinary Institute of America, plus dance concerts spanning all styles. It also runs a sensory-sensitive Dance Ability class and summer dance classes, and private lessons in dance, theatre, voice and guitar are available on request.
