Gulfshore Ballet is a not-for-profit school of classical ballet at 5636 Youngquist Road in Fort Myers, Florida, serving southwest Florida. It is led by artistic director Iliana Lopez, and its curriculum teaches correct technique while building the strength classical ballet demands. Training is organized into a children's division covering Creative Dance (a mommy or daddy and me class), pre-ballet and levels 1 and 2; an intermediate division of levels 3 to 5; and an advanced and pre-professional division. Classes are offered for ages 4 through adult, including open adult ballet and pointe. New students are placed by means of a placement class. The school stages several professionally produced performances each season and runs open classes and summer intensives.
