About this studio
Jim Gold International, run by Jim Gold of Teaneck, New Jersey, is chiefly an operator of international folk dance tours, with led trips to Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Israel, Poland, Croatia, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Egypt and India, open to dancers and non-dancers alike. Alongside the tours Gold teaches weekly international folk dance classes in Teaneck at hired community venues: Monday evenings at the Ethical Culture Society, charged per class or as a ten-session block, and Wednesday mornings at the Richard Rodda Center, sold as ten-week sessions. Classes need no partner and cover dances from Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Israel, Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia, Croatia, Russia, Romania and the United States.
