Freehold Academy of Performing Arts

Freehold Academy of Performing Arts (FAPA) is a dance and performing arts school at 6 Paragon Way, Suite 106, Freehold, New Jersey, entering its 25th year. It teaches tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, ballet, pointe, hip hop and street dance, and also offers voice lessons. The facility is a climate-controlled 9,000 square foot space with five separate dance rooms fitted with the studio's own sprung dance floors, and closed-circuit television in the waiting area so parents and family can watch classes in session. An on-site apparel store, Absolute Dancewear, sells dance wear and shoes including the studio's own FAPA Wear line. Beyond regular classes the academy runs PECO, its performing company, and competitive hip hop and acro programs, plus summer sessions, an annual recital and birthday parties. Students come from Freehold and the surrounding Monmouth County towns of Jackson, Marlboro, Manalapan, Howell, Englishtown and Millstone Township.
