Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Manhasset, operated as Manhasset Dance Dreams Inc. at 20 Park Avenue in Manhasset, New York, is a franchise of the Fred Astaire Dance Studios network founded in 1947. It teaches partner dancing in both the International and American ballroom styles, along with Latin, swing, country western and club dances, and takes students of any age or ability. Instruction combines private lessons, group lessons and practice parties, using the company's proprietary curriculum, and the studio runs a wedding dance program covering everything from a simple first dance to routines for the whole wedding party. A money-saving introductory offer is available to new students. Dancers can also compete as Pro-Am partners with their instructor at branded Fred Astaire regional, inter-regional, national and international competitions.
