Fred Astaire Dance Studi

New York Ballroom Dance Center is a ballroom studio at 172 Harris Road, Bedford Hills, New York, owned and operated since 2002 by local residents who are professional ballroom dancers with over 40 years of experience. It teaches all ages and levels, from complete social beginners to advanced competitors. The program covers European/standard dances (waltz, foxtrot, tango, Viennese waltz), Latin-American dances (rumba, mambo, cha cha cha, swing), club styles including salsa and bachata, and Argentine tango. Additional offerings include wedding first-dance choreography for couples and families, structured ballroom programs for children from age 7, and coaching sessions with United States champions. Students can take part in regional, national and international competitions as well as studio showcases, spotlights, theatrical numbers and social and holiday practice parties for members and guests. New students are offered an introductory package of two lessons for $49.
