About this studio
Michelle Ferraro's Dance USA has taught on Long Island since 1993 and runs two studios, its main location at 25 Gibbs Road in Coram and a second in Moriches. The program starts with Tiny Tots creative movement at 3, Pre-School combination classes at 4, and Primary I and II ballet/tap and jazz/tap combinations at 5 and 6, alongside Hippity-Hop and Breakin Tots introductions for 5-6 year olds. From age 7 dancers can take graded ballet taught in the Russian and Italian methods, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, breakin and a dedicated leaps and turns class, with acro available from age 4. Class sizes are deliberately small. All students perform in an annual recital, the studio runs summer camps, and it fields a competition team that auditions new members each June.
