About this studio
DreamWeavers Dance Studio has taught in Forest City, North Carolina since 1999, operating from 163 East Main Street. It offers classes across ballet, pointe, lyrical and contemporary, tap, clogging, hip hop, jazz, and tumbling and acro, plus pre-dance combination classes for young beginners that mix tap, jazz, ballet and gym, and a Mommy and Me class for ages 2 to 3 that builds coordination, balance and creative movement. Pops and Pearls is a father-daughter class blending jazz, funk and hip hop, and Move2Fit provides adult classes. Teaching staff have been working through the Acrobatic Arts certification program for safe acro progressions. The studio runs a Performance Team and the Dream Team, which competes across the southeast, stages The Nutcracker, and offers prospective families a studio tour. Alumni have gone on to college and professional dance teams.
