About this studio
Darlington Arts Center is a non-profit, member-supported community arts school at 977 Shavertown Road in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, southwest of Philadelphia, working under the motto 'Every Art for Everyone' and serving Glen Mills, Chadds Ford, Wilmington and West Chester. Alongside music, visual art and drama it runs a dance program offering dance education to students of all ages in a fun, encouraging and deliberately non-competitive environment with small classes. Dance is offered as academic-year classes running September to June, as 10-week trimester sessions that let students sample different styles, and as one-off workshops; private dance instruction is available for any age or level. Academic-year students take part in the Spring Dance Recital each June.
