About this studio
Dancin' Off Broadway has been teaching in west central Minnesota for around 35 years and is now entering its 39th season. It runs studios at 422 Broadway Street in Alexandria and 601 Sinclair Lewis Avenue in Sauk Center, teaching more than 350 students drawn from over 30 surrounding communities. Recreation classes are open to dancers aged three and up in a friendly, non-competitive setting, beginning with Ages 3/4 classes that introduce the basics and progressing through age-grouped classes that build tap and jazz skills; the class catalogue also lists ballet and acro. Competition Prep classes prepare younger dancers who may want to move into competitive work, and a separate competitive division offers a more challenging and rigorous track.
