About this studio
218 Dance Project is a dance studio at 5713 Grand Avenue in Duluth, Minnesota, which describes itself as more than a studio, on a mission to teach the art of movement to everyone from the joyful beginner to the most competitive dancer while building confidence and a sense of purpose. Classes are grouped by school stage: a Pre-K combo for ages 3-5 covering ballet, tap and jazz through imaginative play; combo classes for K-1st, 2nd-3rd and 4th-5th grades in tap, lyrical and jazz; and a street jazz/hip hop class for 6th grade and up. Tiny Tumblers and Beginner Acro cover tumbling and acro skills, and adult jazz and tap classes are offered. Beyond recreational classes, a performance team acts as a bridge into the White, Mint and Company competitive teams, and the studio offers scholarships.
