Dance Fremont

Dance Fremont is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community dance school at 8420 Greenwood Ave N in Seattle, providing in-depth ballet and modern dance training for youth and adults since 1996. Its teaching emphasises anatomical education, collaborative creative exploration and community support, and it works with live musicians for class accompaniment. The Youth Program is arranged in three levels - Primary, Preparatory and Proficiency - while the Adult Program includes beginner classes for the school year and drop-in open classes. New youth and adult students are accepted throughout the year and can book a trial class before enrolling. Summer brings camps, classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Students perform in a regular performance series including the long-running Steadfast Tin Soldier, cast by audition and now in its thirtieth year, and the school holds parent watch weeks. Reduced-cost and free access to programs is supported by 4Culture, and the school also rents studio space.
