About this studio
DK Dance Studio is a children's dance studio at 805 Ridge Road in Webster, New York, owned by Ms. Dena and in its 22nd year. Its stated philosophy is that dance is for everyone, teaching the whole child with attention to personal as well as physical development in a nurturing environment. Classes run through the week for all ages and abilities across a range of styles including ballet and hip hop. Programs are grouped by age: Dance With Me, Baby for 9 to 24 months, Tots for 22 to 36 months, Lil' Movers for 2.5 to 6 years, Mini Movers for 6 to 8, Junior Movers for 9 to 11, preteen and teen classes for 11 and up, and adult classes for 18 and over. Many classes include teaching assistants and demonstrators. The studio also runs an elite DK Company Program with performances and competitions, spring showcases and celebration classes, themed summer camps with a performance finale, birthday parties and free trial classes.
