About this studio
Crystal's World of Dance & Cheer has operated in Lakeland, Florida since 2003, founded by artistic director Crystal S. Brown-Davis, who began studying dance at 11 in Springfield, Massachusetts and started teaching in 1993 before relocating to Florida. The studio was created to give local youth opportunities to build talent, confidence and discipline, and its stated mission is to make dance accessible to diverse communities through varied classes and community performances. Programming covers evening recreational classes, an aftercare program, competition dance and competition cheerleading, and summer camp, with class groupings shown for tots through teens. Staff are working dancers and choreographers, and the studio runs a fall registration period alongside competition auditions.
