About this studio
Center for Dance Arts (CFDA) is at 93 Main Street in Farmingdale, New Jersey, and describes itself as a program where children learn and grow in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. The school holds that a stable foundation in classical ballet is the most important discipline for producing a versatile dancer, and its instructors work with the Cecchetti Council of America so the ballet syllabus runs from pre-professional to professional groundwork. Classes begin with Tiny Toes for ages 2.5 to 4 introducing ballet and creative movement, then Tippy Toes ballet and tap combination for ages 4 to 6, Primary 1 for ages 5 to 7 adding jazz, and levelled course work in Levels 1 to 4 requiring instructor evaluation and placement.
