About this studio
Burlington Dance Center (BDC) has operated in Burlington, North Carolina since 2011, serving Alamance County, Burlington and Graham from a studio at 2052 Chapel Hill Rd. The school is built around classical ballet training but also offers pointe and pointe variations, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre and acro. Classes are offered for ages 3 to 18. BDC states that it promotes excellence based on standards of integrity, professionalism and respect in a nurturing environment. Dancers perform in the studio's annual production of The Nutcracker and a Spring Concert, and students have gone on to UNC School of the Arts dance programs and Governor's School of North Carolina, as well as local school dance teams and area musical theatre productions. Faculty include Betsy Walker and Vaganova-trained teacher Isabel Pulido.
