Macbeth at The Classics Theatre Project

Shakespeare's definitive portrait of what unchecked ambition does to the human soul hasn't aged a day. Violence begets more violence, an insight that reads like a diagnosis of modern power and the compromises people make to chase it.

At its core, this is a story about paranoia born from guilt. Ambition, left unchecked, hollows out everyone it touches. Four centuries later, the play still isn't about medieval Scotland. It's about us.

This production strips Macbeth down to something stark and gritty, a must-see for modern audiences, whether it's your first time or your fiftieth.
