Casa Mañana Theatre and Regions present Disney's The Little Mermaid, as part of the 2016-2017 Children's Theatre season. Tickets are on sale now.

Based on the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its unforgettable songs including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World." When the mermaid, Princess Ariel, longs for a life out of the water, she bargains with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her fins for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs to help of her colorful friends Founder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea. This show is suitable for all audiences.

The cast includes Josie Dawn as "Ariel," Cheryl Allison as "Ursula," Christopher J. Deaton as "King Triton/Chef Louis," Winston Daniels as "Sebastian," Joseph Redd as "Scuttle," Bob Reed as "Grimsby," Kyle Igneczi as "Prince Eric," Abby Chapman as "Flounder," Taylor Ratliff as "Jetsam" and Brandon Shreve and David Midkiff will double "Flotsam." Additional cast members include Sarah Youngblood, Grace Moore, Ally Ramsey, Anna Chase Lanier, Caroline Ellis, Sydney Dotson, Lauren Magee, Katie Blanton, Bailey Poe, Rashaun Sibley, Tristan Thomas, Will Thomson, David Postlewate, Patrick Bilbo, Cooper Carter, Katherine Pfeffer, Tara Holt, Madeline Ayala, Elizabeth Hall, Ava Jones and Brooklyn Roberson.

Lee Wilkins will direct and choreograph. Mr. Wilkins most recently served as the associate choreographer on Broadway for Bright Star, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, First Date and It Shoulda Been You. As a performer on Broadway, his credits include Elf, Spamalot, Kiss Me, Kate and Wonderful Town. Additional creative team members include Sally Gardner as music director, Samuel Rushen as lighting designer, Holly Windingstad as scenic designer, Kyle McCord as sound designer, Tammy Spencer as costume designer and Catherine Petty-Rogers as hair, wig and make-up designer.
