The Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts (HB APA) is the magnet arts program for the Huntington Beach Union High School District. This October, its Musical Theatre department will present GYPSY. Based on the memoirs of dancer Gypsy Rose Lee, GYPSY focuses on her mother, Rose, and her efforts to raise two daughters to perform onstage in the 1920s vaudeville circuit.
